ในช่วงห้าหกปีที่ผ่านมาผมสังเกตเห็นว่ามีอุปกรณ์ชาที่เพิ่มเติมขึ้นบนโต๊ะชาและได้รับความนิยมกันมาก โดยเห็นได้จากความหลากหลายของผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ออกสู่ตลาด อุปกรณ์นั้นก็คือที่รองฝาป้านหรือ 盖置 (ไก้จื๋อ) แต่เดิมนั้นหากเรากล่าวถึงอุปกรณ์ชาแบบกงฟูโดยหลักแล้วจะมีสี่สิ่งสำคัญก็คือเตา, กาต้มน้ำ, ป้านเมิ่งเฉินและจอกรั่วเซินเจินฉ่าง การจัดชุดชาฮกเกี้ยนแต้จิ๋วก็ไม่เคยเห็นมีใครเทียบที่รองฝาป้านเอาไว้ในชุดด้วยเลยจนสี่ห้าปีก่อนจึงค่อยเริ่มเห็นกันมากขึ้น จากความเห็นของผมที่รองฝาป้านนี่ได้รับอิทธิพลจากอุปกรณ์ของทางญี่ปุ่น
